Well those in the group know Velocity Club Rob Pryor  has a taste for the dirt & keeps coming back for more. Here's our Rob Pryor on his way to finish in the top 10 at a local cross country race in Edmonton.

All that winter single speed training is paying off.

The spring cross country mountain bike race series wrapped up today with Noah Walt and myself finishing 2nd and 3rd in today’s race. Noah launched a well timed attack on the final muddy and rutted climb catching the first 3 riders halfway up the slope. The charge applied enough pressure to the three riders that Noah easily slid into second spot and I was lucky enough to gap the others and cross the finish line in 3rd.

Last night was incredible as Rob, Shane & myself (Noah) raced the fat tire tuesday mountain bike race at Terwilliger park. Tons of raw excitement & primal aggression as well as finesse & the ability to pick the right line is needed to win these events.

 

It was a great night & congrats to Shane for taking 8th place when racing with the big dogs in the 4 lapper. Rob & I had our hands full in the populated 3 lap race and made respectable efforts worthy of a Velocity jersey.

 

Great to see our club colours out there.

Rob Pryor, Lawrence Lam, and Noah Walt raced the 6 hour Trans Stony Enduro on May 24th as a 3 person team. Allan Plesniarski raced in the solo category.
