Membership Info
The Velocity Cycling Club is a cycling group based in Edmonton, Alberta and is entirely dedicated to the enthusiastic pursuit of fun! While we take our cycling seriously, we're also serious about enjoying the experience with every turn of the pedal. We're always looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals to join our club!
Application for Memberships
If you are interested in registering for the 2013 Season (season runs from January 1 to December 31, 2013):
Memberships
- Individual Membership: Benefits include training rides, midweek races, club track night, entry fees at sanctioned races (subject to limits), ABA insurance, bike shop discount. Fee is $80.00
- Family Membership: All the individual benefits at the following rate: $200 for the first four familiy members (no more than two adults), plus $45 for each additional child (18 and under), to a maximum of $290.00.
- Second Claim Members: Benefits include access to training rides, midweek races, club track night. You are not required to post the volunteer bond. If you are affiliated with another club with ABA insurance, the fee is $ 45.00.

Volunteer Policy
- All full members are required to post a volunteer bond, $50/individual or $100/family. The bond is taken with the registration and will be refunded in the fall for all members who have completed their volunteer requirement of one major position or two minor positions for the club between January 1st, 2013 and November 30th, 2013.
Please Note:
New memberships are subject to acceptance of the membership, who will vote at their monthly meetings. Check the web site message board for location and time of Monthly meetings.
